Saturday the 4th was our first class in October which is our Halloween month 😉
We started our Halloween month by making origami ghosts and writing sentences to describe the ghosts.
This craft helped with our motor skills, our writing skills as well as our spelling skills.
We had so much fun!
We also had fun reviewing how to count using jenga and a hot potato game.
For Jenga, we counted each block as it came off the tower; the aim was to get to the highest number we could before the tower collapses.
And we played hot potato game as we counted around the circle.
This was a review of counting numbers and it also worked on strategic thinking and team-work.
We got to speak a lot as we guided our friends on which block to move and what number was coming next.
