Hello! Today’s lesson was about parts of the body, so our Discover Phonics’ friends learned vocabulary such as “eyes”, “ears”, “arms”, etc., along with the useful phrase, “What’s the matter?”. Our discoverers will be prepared to explain the next time something is bothering them, (which hopefully isn’t anytime soon!).

We played a flashcard game to familiarize ourselves with the vocabulary and get the class moving and having fun!

We played some more games that involved practicing the target phrase.

Our phonics lesson involved the letters, “m”, “n” and “x”, with a little review of the previous letters. The students had to really think which pictures were of objects whose name started with the corresponding sounds and follow the directions in their textbooks accordingly. They were working so hard!

Good job ewveryone! See you next time!
