Teacher Training

Greetings:

This last Friday was one of our quarterly ‘Training and Preparation Sessions’.  The classes are closed to students, yet all the teachers work.  We dedicate this time to training, cleaning and preparing for the next couple months.

先日、半期が終わるにあたって休講日を利用して、講師に向けた研修会や来期に向けた準備を進めていきました。

This last Friday, we had some really positive training sessions for both our Japanese instructors and our English teachers.  David Paul, a renowned psychologist and children’s author came to our Anjo location and trained on different topics, including ‘Child-centered approach’ which is the core to the No Borders philosophy. Also, the preschool and Kinder teams had separate time to prepare for the rest of the quarter.

研修会では、日本人講師と外国人講師に分かれて、それぞれが必要としている知識を習得していきました。安城校で開催した外国人講師向けのセッションでは、当校の教育法である’Child Centered Learning’の著名な教育心理学者であるDavid Paul氏に来校していただき、勉強会を行いました。また、プレスクールやキンダーガーデンのグループに分かれて、より一層コースに基づいた内容・準備を進めていきました。
