Saturday School: サタデースクールコース
Saturday – Kinder Basic
Our last online Saturday class was so fun! Students danced and sang as usual, and we reviewed our homework on page 15 of Sam’s Magic House. We also reviewed directional prepositions: in, on, under, and behind. Also, we learned a new directional preposition: between. Students also reviewed classic shapes like a circle, rectangle, triangle, square, heart, and star. Furthermore, we reviewed our Unit 2 Phonics anchor words and sounds: Grape juice, Otter, Newt, Dog, and Snake. After that, we reviewed the new forest animals, like wild boar, bear, and bird, among others. We also introduced the students to the plural form of the forest animals. Ie: snakes, wild boars, bears, birds, etc. Students counted the amount of animals on the screen and used the plural form. Ie: “2 snakes” or “3 birds.” Students also continued to practice writing our new phonics letters of g, o, n, d, and s. Thank you to all of the students for continuing to work hard when we had to transition to online lessons, and a huge thank you to the parents for being patient with us. 最週オンラインクラスはとても楽しかったです！いつものように踊ったり歌ったりしました。Sam’s Magic Houseの15ページで宿題を確認し、方向性の前置詞：in、on、under、behind も復習しました。加えて、新しく between を学びました。円、長方形、三角形、正方形、ハート、星型 などの転艇的な形状、さらに、ユニット2フォニックスのアンカーワードと音（グレープジュース、カワウソ、イモリ、犬、ヘビ）を学びました。イノシシ、クマ、鳥などの新しい森の動物を復習に加えて、これらの複数形も紹介しました。動物の数を数えたり、複数形を使用し、「2匹のヘビ」「3羽の鳥」などの良い方を練習しました。g、o、n、d、s の文字を書く練習もしています。オンラインレッスンへの移行となり、一生懸命頑張って参加してくれた皆さんに感謝します。また、辛抱強くサポートしてくださった保護者様に感謝します。 通常の対面レッスンに戻ることを楽しみにしています！

Saturday – Kinder Upper
Today was a great last lesson for us! We started the morning with our Jumping Jacks song and had a fun Circle Time talking about the weather and the days of the week. We also played the ‘Find something Green’ game and you were able to show us some interesting examples of the colors we practised- white, green and more. Everyone worked hard on our phonics letters and vocabulary, we are still working on C, D, G, N, O, S this week. We also read the new section of Jimmy’s Magic House and saw lots of animals in the kitchen. We did some writing practise and more games as well. It has been lots of fun seeing all of you on Saturdays. Thank you for joining us and good luck back at your regular schools next week. -Eric and Emily
素晴らしい最終オンラインレッスンとなりました！朝はジャンピングジャックの曲から始め、天気と曜日について話し、楽しいサークルタイムとなりました。 「Find something Green」ゲームで、白、緑、などを探し、今までに練習した色を使って、みんななかなか面白いアイテムを探してきて見せてくれました。フォニックスでは、アルファベットと語彙を一生懸命練習しました。今週は再度、C、D、G、N、O、S をしています。また、「Jimmy’s Magic House」の新しいセクションに進み、キッチンでたくさんの動物を見ました。ライティングの練習をしたり、たくさんのゲームをしました。土曜日に皆さんにお会いするのはとても楽しかったです。多くの方のご参加、ありがとうございました。来週からは通常の学校でさらに頑張ってください。

Saturday – Elementary Basic
Thank you to everyone for coming to the last lesson today! It’s been so much fun with you all these past few weeks, we’re going to miss you! Today we covered our usual circle time, voted on what weather we liked best and went through the days as usual. We also went through what sports we can do and what we can’t do, and we all practiced them at home. You’re all very talented! Then we did some pictionary, guessing what sport Nadia was drawing,and then practicing drawing the sport. After lunch we did some review of our action words, and did some writing, focusing on making it super neat. Then we did a classic game of charades! Jackie acted it out for us and we guessed what she was doing. And finally we had a story from Jackie and did some important animal review! Then we had our final song and dance, and what a whale of a time we had. Thank you so much for everything, we’ve had such a good time with you all. I hope you’ve enjoyed it, we certainly did! We love you and we’ll miss you <3 Good luck back at school everyone, and stay safe!

最後のオンラインレッスンに参加してくれて本当にありがとうございます！ここ数週間がとても楽しい時間でした。会えなくなるのは寂しいです！今回はいつものサークルタイムで、どんな天気が一番好きかを話し合い、今までのように過ごしました。できるスポーツとできないスポーツを、全員が自宅で体験しました。皆とても才能がありますね！次に、ナディア講師が描いているスポーツを当てて、自分たちでも描いてみました。昼食後には、動詞の復習を行い、文章の中で使って書きました。古典的なゲーム、シャレードを行い、ジャッキー講師がジェスチャーで見せて、みなさんに何をしているのかを当ててもらいました。最後に、ジャッキー講師からの話を聞いて、動物の復習をしました！最後に歌と踊りで盛り上がりました。楽しい時間を過ごせたことに本当に感謝しています。皆さんにも楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。みんなのことが大好きになり、会えなくなるのは本当に寂しいです！幸運を祈っています！どうか安全で！

Saturday – Elementary Upper
We welcomed our students back again today for our very last online Saturday class! We started off the day with some conversation practice; we asked questions like “how are you?”, “where would you like to go for a trip?” and “what are you wearing today?”. After that we reviewed some “in”, “on” and “under” phrases with our flashcards: such as “the gorilla is in the car!” and “the duck is under the bed!”. We also played a fun drawing and vocabulary game where the students had to listen to us describe a word and draw what they think it is – since it was our last lesson we decided to use fun characters as our words! We also practiced our reading by taking turns going through a story about running and making a chocolate cake together. After lunch we did our final show and tell, introduced the workbook page 22 and 23, and practiced the phrases like, “whats wrong?”,“ i cant find my ____,” “is it in your _____?” We finished the day creating our own story, and playing our favorite I Spy game, where the students look at a picture of many objects, tell us a color, and other students try to guess what the object is. It was such a fun past few weeks, and we hope everyone has good luck in school. Thank you!

最後のオンラインクラスになりました！みんなをまた歓迎したあとは、会話の練習から始めました。 「お元気ですか？」「どこに旅行に行きたいですか？」「今日は何を着ていますか？」などの質問をしました。 その後は、「ゴリラは車の中にいます！」「アヒルはベッドの下にあいます！」といった文章を、in, on, under のフラッシュカードを使って確認と応用練習をしました。また、絵描きゲームやボキャブラリーゲームもし、生徒が講師に聞かれた言葉を説明し、それが何であるのかを描くチャレンジです。最終回ということで、特別、楽しいキャラクターを言葉として使用したりもしました。また、「一緒に走ってチョコレートケーキを作る」という内容の話を順番に読みました。昼食後、最後のショーを行い、ワークブックの22ページと23ページを見て、「どうしたの？」「____が見つかりません」「_____にありますか？」などのフレーズを練習しました。自分オリジナルのストーリーを作成し、みんなが大好きな I Spyゲームをし、みんなでたくさんアイテムの載った写真を見て、謎のアイテムがどれであるかを当てます。そして1日を終えました。ここ数週間はとても楽しかったです。学校でも一生券面頑張ってくれることを願っています。ありがとうございました！

Saturday – Advanced
Today was fun even though it is the last saturday online class still everyone was very engaging and full of fun! We sang a birthday song to one of the kids who’s gonna have her birthday tomorrow and everybody sang and even asked her random questions. Their conversation skills have broadened since we usually do it in class. We also did some stretching and dancing with Mario and everyone had fun! We then discussed what a postcard is and how a postcard works and is it different from a letter. A show and tell happened and some kids showed us their own postcards and we let them make their own postcard. We discussed common and proper nouns and Mike did a game with the kids wherein they were very participative in answering. We also did some activities in the practice book and edited out a phrase which almost everyone got it correctly! And lastly, we did a family game wherein kids and even the teacher have to ask how many family members each kid has and draw them down in a paper or their notebook. The enthusiasm they gave since day 1 on saturday online classes continued until the last day! Everybody did good today even on the last day of online classes! -Mike and Christy
最後のオンラインクラスとなりましたが、大変楽しかったです。翌日に誕生日をむかえるお友だちにみんなでHappy Birthday を合唱し、その子にあれこれ質問しました。普段からクラス内で会話練習をするので、益々、会話力も広がりました。マリオと一緒にストレッチやダンスもし、みんな盛り上がっていました！次に、ハガキとは何か、ハガキがどう機能し、手紙とは異なるか、について説明しました。Show and Tell では、数名は自分自身のポストカードを見せてくれました。一般名詞と固有名詞について話し合い、Mike講師と一緒にゲームをしました。練習帳でいくつかのワークを行い、概ね全員が正しく理解できているフレーズを添削しました！最後に、家族のゲームをしました。みんなの家族には何人がいるのかを、紙やノートに書き下ろす、ライティングをしました。みんながオンラインクラスの初日から見せてくれた熱意は最終日まで続きました！最後の最後までみんな元気でした！
