【Elementary Intermediate】Learning how to give directions!

Hello everyone! This is No Borders Okazaki School.

Today, we’ll show some highlights from our afterschool Elementary Intermediate class.

We learnt all about how to give directions and we reviewed the vocabulary for different locations!

First we practiced the vocabulary we could use and we looked at the different locations on the map.

“The zoo is next to the station!”

We learnt how to describe a location relative to another.

We drew a map on the board and used flashcards to represent different locations around town.

Then we had to give directions to get to a location.

“Turn left! Turn right! The sports shop is next to the park!”

We had so much fun giving directions and seeing where they took us.

 

Don’t forget to write the directions on your notebook and then let’s follow them!

We did it, we found our way around the town! ☺
