年末が近づくと、ノーボーダーズではパーティーやコンサートなどたくさんのイベントで大忙しです。しかし子どもたちとスタッフにとって、とても楽しい時期でもあります。
イベントの中にはご家族で一緒に参加できるものもあります。イベントに一緒に参加するだけでも子どもの成長には大きな影響があると言われています。アフリカで2,500人以上の小学生を対象に行われた研究では、子どもの教育に親の関与が高いほど、子どもたちの才能が開花する可能性が高いということが証明されました。宿題の手伝いだけではなく、学校のイベントなどに参加することでも子どもたちの成長に大きな貢献ができるのです。

Greetings Parents!
As the year comes to an end, that means we here at No Borders are busier than ever! Many events, parties, concerts, etc! It is a fun and active time of year! However, during this we like to involve our parents! We believe that a strong connection between the school and home in critical in the successful development of your child. A recent study done with over 2,500 elementary students in Africa showed the greater level of parental involvement in the child’s education, the greater the likelihood that the students reach their fullest potential. This was not just about the parent helping with homework, but actually being involved with the school, participating in events, knowing what was going on a daily basis and talking to the student about it. Much recent has been done on student success combined with parental involvement! I know we are all busy and it is sometimes hard, but I encourage to do your best to make the time and get involved! No Borders is a community and we have many opportunities including lunches, events, plays, concerts, conferences and daily feed back…so come and be part of your child’s educational journey! I promise you will see great results! See you around school!
